The team at Secure data recovery was able to successfully recover files from my damaged WD hard drive. The team diagnosed the issues as corrupted service area modules, requiring manual work to address. Communication with the data recovery specialist was frequent, clear, and he took time to go over my questions and concerns. I did have sticker shock at the price quoted to complete the work. When I dropped off the hard drive at the retail location to be shipped to the lab, the associate estimated the cost to be around $500. The quote I received from Secure Data Recovery was over $2,000! Because I wasn''t in a rush for the files, they were able to bring the price down, however, their prices are quoted in USD even though the work to my hard drive was being done in Toronto. Overall, customer service was excellent!

You guys are amazing. I had just taken over IT with this company when we lost a server (RAID array) with no recent viable backups in place.
