My laptop fell and damaged the hard drive. Stupid me hadn't done an external back up and had 7 years worth of book keeping files on my computer for my boyfriend's company. Called Secure Data Recovery to see if they could help me recover the data. Alec Sakenes was the customer service person that took my call. He helped me through the process from start to end. He was very responsive and patient with me, as I am not very computer tech savvy. Secure Data Recovery was very quick in their turn around time from the day I first placed my call to completing the recovery. It was a successful recovery and they have saved me years of work. It wasn't cheap, however I have learned my lesson about making sure to make proper external back ups. If you want great customer service ask to deal with Alec Sakenes!! Secure Data Recovery was able to recover 100% of all my files / data from my corrupted SSD, and made sure I was able to get all my data back on to my personal laptop. The team at Secure data recovery was able to successfully recover files from my damaged WD hard drive. The team diagnosed the issues as corrupted service area modules, requiring manual work to address. Communication with the data recovery specialist was frequent, clear, and he took time to go over my questions and concerns. I did have sticker shock at the price quoted to complete the work. When I dropped off the hard drive at the retail location to be shipped to the lab, the associate estimated the cost to be around $500. The quote I received from Secure Data Recovery was over $2,000! Because I wasn''t in a rush for the files, they were able to bring the price down, however, their prices are quoted in USD even though the work to my hard drive was being done in Toronto. Overall, customer service was excellent!

Secure Data Recovery were fantastic. with the help of their excellent and responsive agent Jason, the company recovered the data from an old damaged hard drive I''ve had for over 10 years.
